Payment, deposit and cancellation policy
Payment Policy
Payment is required in full on the day of the treatment. We have various payment methods available such as cash, EFTPOS, credit card (Visa, Mastercard and AMEX only), health fund claims through HICAPS and Medicare for CDBS.
ALL HEALTH FUNDS ARE WELCOME.
We understand that sometimes, times can be tough financially. If you are concerned about this, please give our practice a call prior to your appointment so we can discuss what options you have.
Deposits
We require a deposit for online booking, new patients booking and certain long appointments to guarantee your appointment, as well as for extensive procedures that involve laboratory work or sedation (as this entails an appointment for a sedationist to attend). At times we will request a deposit from you to secure an appointment which will be up to staff discretion.
Deposit amounts will vary according to your procedure. The deposit amounts will be held as a credit in your patient account and will go towards your treatment. However, please note that our cancellation policy still applies for failure to attend your appointment, so please be mindful of the confirmation process that we have.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment is a time allocated exclusively for you. Our team prepares for your treatment prior to your arrival so that everything will run smoothly while you're on the dental chair. We do understand that time is precious and life gets busy, however, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice so that we can reallocate your appointment time to any waiting or emergency patients.
If you need to cancel your appointment:
-
Please call us on (02) 8789 2177
-
Text us on +61489084003 - please note do not call this number as it doesn't accept voice calls.
-
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
As we confirm appointments 48 hours prior via SMS and a follow-up phone call the day before (if we did not receive your SMS reply), your appointment remains your responsibility to attend or reschedule at least 24 business hours in advance.
Late notice or failure to attend your appointment may incur a cancellation penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or FAILURE TO ATTEND WITHOUT NOTICE incur a short notice cancellation fee of $50 at the discretion of management. Cancellation Fees are non-refundable.
Late Attendance
- We strive to maintain punctual schedules to accommodate all patients.
- If you are running late, please call ahead and advise us. We will try our best to accommodate you.
- Arriving more than 10 minutes late without any notice can be seen as a failure to attend, and your appointment may not be undertaken. This will be at the dentist’s discretion on the day.
